The Cottage

Beul Na Mara is a place guests return to year after year. Lots of people say they’ve stayed in Gairloch previously but never realised the cottage, tucked away down a narrow lane, existed. Once discovered, it’s hard to find a better place to unwind and enjoy the simple joys of life.

The property sleeps four guests. There is a double room with a king-size bed and a twin room. The bathroom upstairs has a walk-in shower and a slipper bath by the window. The lounge and dining/day room both have wood-burning stoves and there is a smart TV in the lounge so guests can access their Netflix/Streaming service accounts. There is also fibre broadband. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave/oven combi.

Tea towels, oven gloves, hand towels and bath towels are all provided.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of a butcher’s, book shop, coffee shop, and pub all less than a 5-minute walk.

Waterfront Views at Stay by the shore

There is no direct vehicular access to the cottage as Shore street terminates at the water’s edge. Guests can park in the commonly owned parking area and walk the thirty metres on a gravel path to reach Beul Na Mara. This means there is no traffic and is more peaceful but may not suit someone who is less mobile.

DOGS ARE WELCOME FOR FREE! We don’t believe guests should be charged extra to bring their furry members of the family on holiday so there is no additional cost but please remember to let us know you will be bringing dogs when you make your booking. Please don’t allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs.
