From the North:
Leaving Ullapool on the A835 continue until turning right onto the A832. Drive past Dundonell, Aultbea and Poolewe and after 6 miles you will reach Gairloch. Take the first turning right into ‘Strath’ opposite the first McColls shop. Continue on this road with the sea on your left until you reach the second McColls shop on your right and ‘The Mountain Coffee shop’ on your left.
For B&B guests: There is free parking in the village car park next to The Mountain coffee shop. We’re the next house along.
For the holiday cottage: Immediately after The Mountain coffee shop is Shore Street. If you drive down to the end of the lane and find a space to park. There is limited parking for residents of Shore Street so if guests have more than one vehicle please could you park it in the car park at the top of the street.
From the South:
From Kinlochewe heading north continue along Loch Maree passing ‘Slioch’ on the opposite side of the water which is one of the most photographed mountains in the Highlands. The road narrows as you drive down into Gairloch. Continue for approximately one mile through the village, past the golf course and the Gairloch Hotel and take the left turning into ‘Strath’. Continue on this road with the sea on your left until you reach the second McColls on your right and ‘The Mountain Coffee shop’ on your left.
