This year Scotland is celebrating its coasts and waters with an initiative to inspire visitors and locals to explore and experience out remarkable coastline and beaches.
Whether its going out on a SUP, gliding along on a kayak, watching wildlife on an organised boat/R.I.B trip there is so much to see. We have it all on our doorstep here in Gairloch – the following are activities available in the area – but at the end of the day if a simple paddle through some rock pools and a walk on the beach is more your thing we have it here within walking distance of the cottage and B&B.
Gairloch Canoe and Kayak Centre – Kayaking, Canoeing, Coasteering, Sea Foraging and bike hire.
Shellfish Safaris. – Sailing out of Badachro a 90 minute interactive experience of life on a traditional working fish boat and a chance to take home creel caught crab.
